Laura Lee — Dirty Old Man

Laura Lee — what can one say? The lady has been around singing and songwriting since the late 50’s. She’s released material for  Ric-Tic, Chess, Cotillion, Hot Wax and Ariola. She’s been singing what women were thinking, experiencing, and hoping for (I guess we still feel the same) with the passion and devotion only a woman can empathize with. When I listen to her, I wish I could turn back the hands of time and hear voices like hers on the radio, and see elegant beautiful classy ladies on the  TV screens.

This is a piece of classic soul … Won’t get any better, in my opinion.

Dirty Old Man is from Love More Than Pride  (1972)
